Designer
with a
marketer's mind.

I'm Nicholas — a graphic designer and brand marketer in Los Angeles. I make work that's visually sharp because the strategy underneath it is sharp.

I sit between two disciplines on purpose. A bachelor's in marketing taught me to think about audience, positioning, and the story a brand is trying to tell. Continuing design studies at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles taught me to make that story visible.

That overlap is where my work lives. Brand identity systems built so they hold up across every channel, not just a mockup. Campaign design where the layout, type, and copy hierarchy were chosen because they pull weight — not because they look nice in a grid. Packaging, posters, and editorial that answer to a real audience.

I've developed branding, marketing assets, digital ads, social content, and motion-based design across entertainment, finance, music, and consumer concept work. My process leans on clarity, consistency, and impact — three words I keep coming back to.

If you're a hiring team or recruiter looking for a designer who can also sit in the strategy room — or a marketer who can actually art-direct the rollout — that's the role I want.

What I do

4 disciplines
— 01

Brand identity

End-to-end visual systems — logo, type, color, and the standards document to keep them coherent at scale. Built for teams who need their brand to do real work, not sit in a guidelines PDF.

  • Logo systems
  • Typography
  • Color systems
  • Brand standards
  • Naming support
— 02

Campaign & marketing

Posters, social, OOH, digital ads, and integrated rollouts. The piece that runs in market matters more than the one in the deck — so I design with media plans, audiences, and CTAs already in mind.

  • Campaign design
  • Social systems
  • Digital advertising
  • OOH & print
  • Launch rollouts
— 03

Print & packaging

Editorial layouts, brochures, packaging, and merchandise concepts. I sweat the production details — paper, finish, hierarchy — so the printed thing feels as considered as it looks on screen.

  • Editorial
  • Brochures
  • Product packaging
  • Food service
  • Apparel & merch
— 04

Brand strategy & art direction

The before-design part. Positioning, messaging hierarchy, creative direction, and the conversations that decide what we're really making. Marketing fluency is what I bring into these rooms.

  • Positioning
  • Creative direction
  • Messaging
  • Art direction
  • Brand audits

"Design without a marketing brain is decoration.
Marketing without design is a memo.
The work I want to make sits in the seam between the two."
